b. Paul Siverson: spoke on the Medallions made for the Korean War Veterans cost is $23.00. Also Vietnam Medallions are in the works.
c. Paul Levesque mentioned that when the covers he had ordered are received we can decide if we would like to purchase.
d. Steve Tracy, is collecting items for the Kentucky relief. Will be leaving Tuesday for Kentucky.

    b. VTC Veterans Treatment Court proposed to be in effect sometime this summer. This is only for Veterans who have committed a misdemeanor not a FELONY. To be tried and not have a conviction on their record only if they adhere to the ruling of the VTC.
    c. Retiree Appreciation Day will be held on Camp Lejeune NC at Marston Pavilion. September 24th 2022. Guest are the Sen Lazzara, CG of MCI East, CO of Naval Medical Center. Director of DHA.

    a. April 30 will be the Vietnam Recognition day held at Lejeune Memorial Garden commencing at 1000 a.m.
    b. May 7th will be the Retiree Breakfast at O club cost $10. Social Hour will commence at 0700

  4. OLD BUSINESS a. Secretary Miethker reminded the Chapter, there is no written contract with Coastal Carolina
    Community College for the old Mack McKinney award, further discussion tabled until the

  5. NEW BUSINESS

a. Chapter Chairman Nevgloski has assigned Tim Manchester, Paul Levesque and Steve
Tracy to the Policy and Procedures committee. Chapter By Laws need to updated first. The committee will report back at the March 2022 meeting.
b. NCOA National is providing WW2 Medallions for WW2 veterans or family members for $15.00 each.
c. Chapter Chairman Nevgloski informed the Chapter that the pancakes breakfast fundraiser will at Saint Peters by the Sea on 12 February 2022. Cost is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children.
d. Chapter Chairman Nevgloski informed the members that the Annual Budget is due by the March 2022 meeting.

a. Covid-19 immunizations available at the NMCCL Immunization Clinic for all
DOD ID card carrying personnel. 3rd booster shot is now available.

Tracy to the Policy and Procedures committee. Chapter By Laws need to updated first.
b. NCOA National is providing WW2 Medallions for WW2 veterans or family members for $15.00 each. POC is Paul Siverson. Chapter Secretary Miethker has requested 10 Medallions for the Chapter from NCOA Headquarters.
c. Chapter Chairman Nevgloski informed the Chapter that all the Annual Reports had been submitted. The financial audit is due 22 January 22. Members Manchester and Alers will conduct the audit.
d. Chapter Chairman Nevgloski brought up establishing a Chapter 50/50. The Chapter approved.
e. Chapter Chairman Nevgloski informed the Chapter that the pancakes breakfast fundraiser will at Saint Peters by the Sea on 12 February 2022. Cost is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children.

     a. Secretary Miethker reminded the Chapter, there is no written contract with Coastal Carolina

         Community College for the old Mack McKinney award, further discussion tabled until the

         December 2021 meeting.

     b. Member Levesque informed the members that he has placed the order for NCOA covers,

         cost is around $30.00 per cover.  They should be ready this fall.

    c. The Chapter has received 72 Veterans Day Parade applications. The insurance has been

               purchased, Will need volunteers at the Community College to help with parade

               participants to arrive between 0600-0700.  Members from Rolling Thunder, NC5 were

               present and informed the Chapter on how they ran the parade and offered their support

               for this year’s parade

8.  NEW BUSINESS

a. Chapter Chairman Nevgloski has assigned Tim Manchester, Paul Levesque and Steve

Tracy to the Policy and Procedures committee. They will report back January 2022

b. NCOA National is providing WW2 Medallions for WW2 veterans or family members for $15.00 each.  POC is Paul Siverson.  Chapter Secretary Miethker has requested 10 Medallions for the Chapter from NCOA Headquarters.

c. Chapter Chairman Nevgloski encouraged all eligible to register for the Burn Pit and Lejeune Water Registry with the VA.

d. Chapter Chairman Nevgloski informed the Chapter that we raised $400.00 by participating in Belk Charity Dale sale this year..

e. Chapter Chairman Nevgloski would like to hold at least 2 pancakes breakfasts to raise money for the new NCOA Award Program.  He hopes to hold these in January and March 2022.

f. The Chapter voted to donate $500.00 to Wreaths Across America.

g. There will be a Veterans Day Ceremony at the Landings of Swansboro Assisted Living Facility on 11 November 2021 at 1400. Chapter participation is requested.
